Dr. Ganon, DO

Medical Director

A 1982 graduate Of UMDNJ/SOM, Dr. Ganon is board certified in Family Medicine. In a busy career spanning over 30 years, Dr. Ganon has taken on many clinical and leadership roles. Dividing his primary care between Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine, he has been an Emergency Department Director and a Paramedic Medical Director. With an early interest in Addiction Medicine, Dr. Ganon directed an active detox and rehab center in Delaware in the early 1990s.

More recently, he has worked extensively in an Outpatient Treatment Program in St. Mary’s, Georgia; overseeing the care of those seeking treatment for substance use disorders, as well as consulting for a detox here in NJ and providing Medication Assisted Treatment as a consultant for a local non-profit organization. Dr. Ganon is actively pursuing board certification in Addiction Medicine and is a vital part of our team. Dr. Ganon’s interests outside of medicine include running, fishing, and drumming.

Dr. Nguyen obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Kansas, a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine & Biosciences, and completed general psychiatry training in South Florida at the Palm Beach Consortium for Graduate Medical Education at University Hospital in Tamarac, FL. Dr. Nguyen is committed to providing a high level of evidence-based psychiatric care in the drug rehabilitation setting in addition to having a holistic focus on healing and recovery.
